Maybe someone should make a list of all the things the US oligarchs' #AI chatbots won't talk about so we can compare with China's #DeepSeek. We certainly can't expect mainstream media to do that.I'm serious, all these models need to be characterised and compared on not just how rubbish they are, but the censorship and distortions they are being used to implement.Same for the social media platforms etc.#LLM

@servo Relationally and technically IMO this is a bad move.It reduces the likelihood of me building with or donating to Servo for various reasons. Code is one of the least justifiable uses of LLMs, and then we have a plethora of ethical and potential legal problems needing to be worth any perceived benefits.Why risk such a great project for questionable benefits?

I'm close to sharing my most ambitious decentralised app for #Autonomi yet.It's a single 40k file of HTML that loads from the secure anonymous p2p network and talks to it over a REST API provided by a local #dweb server that I created. @km Thanks for sticking with it. It's early days so much to improve, but the point is that this works and is great for users (privacy, control and security for data, no censorship etc) and developers (use standard web skills/tooling, no hosting/domain costs or maintenance, free scalability).Every version of every website or app published remains accessible forever too. So no link rot, no loss of access to your data or your favourite app.

Having stumbled on @zotero I'm hoping it's applicable to my style of research, which is just bookmarks ATM but could do with things like categories, notes and highlighting.Unfortunately I will have to use Firefox or LibreFox if I want to use their "connectors" but I will try the "save" page too (as I mostly use #BraveBrowser these days).#zotero
