@ricci It boggles the mind how much has been wasted on this. Ending the war on drugs also doesn't mean suddenly everyone is going to start doing heroine, either (which is what some people seem to think will happen).

@ricci In all seriousness, the best accessory for my work is a notebook and a pen. I will sit down and write things out there and it helps sooooo much.And in case anyone is wondering, there is no real preference to the paper and pen. I don't think it matters much at all, aside from stuff that is obviously terrible.

To me, this is reputation destroying. I remember turning to Ars Technica for great content about computer hardware. Then it became news-y and went a bit questionable at times. Until this, I'd still consider them mostly reliable.Now, they are not. They have crossed a boundary. They can come back, but it will not be easy.
