       Even though it was a centralized site obviously, that design reminds me of some of what went on in Facebook. A person would post to just followers, and then there'd be requests among those peers to promote the post to public (also the option to demote it if the OP changed their mind). I did like it though, and I like the spirit of this idea too.

But I'm not a baby who needs made up bedtime stories to sooth my ego and know my worth.My ancestors were a mix of thieves who stole Black and Indiginous ideas and pretended that they thought of them first, and refugees who joined the cause of abolition and made cute bow ties out of the railways of rich genocidaires. Some did noble inventive stuff, others did wicked gross stuff, but a whole bunch were mediocre nobodies who dont exist anywhere anymore except as maybe a name in an old govt record.The people I come from don't need to have been special, I make my own way.
