@nomadbynature @babelcarp @fourlarks3d @tea Most likely no, too niche and too not academic to be available anywhere else except Moychay.I ordered it from their russian site, right before the invasion happened. You may try to reach Moychay's shop in Netherland and buy from them.

@nomadbynature @babelcarp @fourlarks3d @tea I thought about it, just didn't expect too much interest :) Also, I was distracted at about a half of the book.In general - it a lots of photos, some are Shevelev posing at different locations, and texts that are combination of stats of different nature, local legends, authors observations and experience. English text sometimes shows it was obviously wrongly translated and not edited out.

@nomadbynature I do not listen to podcasts at all, but in case of some talks or presentations, I tend to use 1.25-1.5 speedup, depending on the speaker's diction and accent.

@nomadbynature It's all individual, yeah.I speed up talks cause I don't like how light in aspect of information density is talking compared to written material.

#Tea @tea "Mean Wife" - aged Guang Xi giant leaf frost-beaten #LiuBao [Winter 01, CLT].This is quite unusual tea by all means - it's a post-fermented, but leaves are almost intact; while being compressed into a brick, few chunks I've got were of a thin leaves sheets; and finally, its taste - reminiscent of an aged white, but almost without fruitiness. Right thing to say - "the taste of an autumn". Kinda of a medicinal herbal beverage, but quite light, not bitter.

@niconiconi learned not enough of these languages, I'd say. For-loop gives them right away.

@niconiconi OK, list comprehension, in this case. My point is that a person who thinks in terms of functional paradigm first doesn't use it all.Lambda application to a sequence doesn't require it.

@niconiconi It's not about how it works under the hood just like if "for x in xs" isn't loop but an anonymous function. There is a difference to a reader between "for x in xs: call(x)"and"list(map(call, xs))", as these are representations from different paradygms.

@nomadbynature Nah, it's not about the price per se (I'm well enough to visit pretty much any restaurant except those targeted to elites). The problem to me that I do not like all the pretentiousness what usually comes with explicit fanciness. And this comes with another challenge for a restaurant: provide original well-made aesthetically pleasing food and relevant service without a requirement of being snob (both for them and a client).

I'm a simple creature - I see what I adore, I like and boost. However, if no #AltText then no boost for you, you see. :goha_vise:

Not an #Introduction per se, more of a disclaimer/dedication to people looking into my profile/feed.I'm trying to build new myself in a way with whom I interact to and what do I share with public audience. Thus I try to search for and follow people from all over the world, including those speaking languages I don't fully understand myself yet (but I aspire to learn, specifically Español and Português at the moment).

@matthew True. However, I saw an increase of the price of DDR3 ECC on ebay. Just an anecdata, could be a fluke, could be a speculation.

I wish those who read that to be alive and happy to your possible extent. I'm a bit of the first and almost none of the second.I slept today already in the anticipation of loud fireworks in the night, cooked quite a slavic version of a dinner and ate it. Now I'm just sitting in my chair under the AC (during the day it was +36 and all the buildings accumulated a lot of heat). So, let's continue.
