@kairyssdal I wonder if the new version of Tweetbot being publicized yesterday alerted the man baby that third party clients existed. I felt like we were on borrowed time, but the bird site is unusable via the web or native clients.

@kairyssdal Does this also break the feed that the bird site mirrors we’re using to show tweets here of people who hadn’t moved? I would assume it does.

@kairyssdal @bw The only thing Colossal has produced has been press releases but it seems to be working for them. How the heck are they “worth” $1bn? How about fixing some actual real-world problems with that money? 🤬

@wjmaggos I’m no programmer, but my understanding is that blocking / charging for access to the API won’t stop bots. Evidence points to the possibility that he is an idiot.
