@fatboy well good for them! If there was a plugin that automatically clicks "essential only" or "reject all" and gets rid of all the cookie banners I'd be the first to install that. Cookie banners and how they trick you into accepting just gets me worked up every time

@dino Congrats!!! I was able to build it on Ubuntu, not on MacOS with brew :-((( dependency hell. Pleeease try and support Mac in the future if possible. Big fan!

So pissed at NordVPN they charged me more than double the price with auto renewal than what I paid the first time I subscribed. Over 100 USD for a year! They did notify me in an email in small print but I did not read it thoroughly because honestly I did not expect this sort of behavior. (I do expect it from German mobile, cable and power companies even though doubling the price would be something even they wouldn't do...) Anyway I guess I learned this at my own expense grrrr

Telegram has an especially bad press here in Germany, the general public thinks that it's an extremist platform where only nazis and anti-vaxxers hang out. The mainstream media was advocating for banning it from app stores in Germany.Somehow they didn't feel necessary to report about this story - I only read about it English tech media.

Can I assume that you are for arming Ukraine and fighting to the last Ukranian? Or do you believe in Ukrainian military victory? Do you go so far that NATO should get involved directly? @sam because ask any non technical person to compare Conversations with Element. Guys, user experience does matter to 99,999% of the population - my point is, maybe some of the money was not stupidly invested by the Matrix guys(I host both a Matrix and an XMPP server)
