@arikb With my mate it, I didn't want to ask specifics of his problem, like you don't ask a fellow prisoner what they did to get there, out of respect for his privacy.Foucault analysed how institutions function on it's subjects, tracking the development of prisons, psychology, sexuality etc. over their development.There's power a relation between the medical staff and patients that echoes the relations of guards and prisoners, you are expected to do what you are told for your own good.

My sister said she was getting me a case of beer for Xmas, so I didn't stock up on Xmas eve. She forgot to bring it and I had my first dry Xmas in 30 something years. Luckily dinner got postponed so only had one event in the morning and that was alright. Merry Xmas!

A friend decided he was going to grow out a beard, and asked me for advice. I told him to get some beard oil and to use shampoo and conditioner, with the warning not to buy the cheapest beard oil because it smells like urinal cake.Just got a text off him 'wow, it really does smell like urinal cake'. 🤦
