@stux It's a tough fight but we'll get there. The problem with hiding from the truth is that it's always looking for you. This will pass, but it may be a number of years before it does. If trump loses in 2024, it will be a solid nail in that coffin.

Why is russia even in the UN at all anymore? The russian federation never even was officially admitted. The Soviet Union was, and russia was just given their seat after the collapse of the soviet union. Note to future world orgs:If a member state collapses, that's a damn a good indicator that you don't want to hand their seat of to their successor government.

Look at this crap. She tells her employees to not worry about bonuses, but she took home 5 million in 2022, including... you guessed it... a large bonus. I understand that some people are more productive than others and they should absolutely make more money because of that, but let's' do some math... she took home 5 million/year in 2022, and the average wage of her workers is 45k/year. Is she 111 times more productive than her employees? I HIGHLY doubt it. And then corp america wonders why we hate them.MillerKnoll is shit.

@Tilopa It only take a couple minutes. It's way easier than dealing with a twitter appeal. Plus, you can say whatever the hell you want, because if they suspend you, you can just create another account right away if you want to. I just want people to know that what twitter says doesn't mean shit. I literally told them to fuck off in my appeal response. They have no real control. Only perceived control.

@Tilopa Yeah do it. It's surprisingly easy. Just follow the steps exactly. It's pretty fun when you have no investment whatsoever. And I feel like that lack of accountability helps degrade the platform further. I had nothing against twitter until they actively reinstated the big russian propaganda accounts. They're turning into the Fox news of social media.

@Tilopa @john If they go unchecked people believe it, and that results in elected officials and the clusterf we have now. The last 10 years have proven that unequivocally. All our partisan issues didn't just happen. Russia did that. They flew under the radar and no one even realized what they were doing. I've seen them doing it to Finland, US, France, an Germany, so far. We saw social media as a form of communication, they saw it as a weapon.

@Tilopa @john They target geographical regions, and then specific demographics within each region. They have teams dedicated to each region and demographic within. They pretend to be peers, and appeal to us on an emotional level. Once they've gained credibility, within their target demographic, they spew russian propaganda. I don't think many people realize how large and detailed the russian propaganda machine is. Probably the biggest that's ever existed on Earth.
