@s_ol @byllgrim @alexcleac @Wolf480plForgeFed has a forum (https://socialhub.network/c/forgefed) and the Git repo has a wiki, unused so far but you can definitely use it (https://notabug.org/peers/forgefed/wiki). And you could also open issues on the repo.The forum is probably the best place for brainstorming and ideas :)

@cwebber @dansup and everyone else: What do you think about Radicle and git-ssb? They both do federated repos, using IPFS and SSB respectively.

What does "RT" mean? I see it a lot in toots/posts on the fediverse. Does it mean "mention"? Or "boost"? Or something else?#fediverse #mastodon

Hey @cwebber ! I've been facing a similar situation, except with other languages. I'd say, stick to the tools you love using. Will JS be the only language to have that OCAP stuff?? Or will we gradually make these tools available in other places? I write in Haskell the missing tools I need along the way. It makes my path a bit longer (the worst part is I spent long painful months on implementing JSON-LD in a pure functional manner, and not even using it yet :P but that's an exception, mostly the side projects are small and go well) but it lets me use and evolve the tools I enjoy using.Is Racket a barrier to contributions? I'd happily learn Racket to participate. People often tell me I shouldn't have chosen Haskell because it's harder to learn and less popular than some other languages. But even when I look for help with projects in Go or Ruby, nobody comes. I'm just taking the "make your own kind of music" (hmm reference to non-free-culture song) route, and trying to enjoy the work I'm doing ^_^

tl;dr Why I haven't been working on #ForgeFed for months nowMy biggest passion is about people's feelings, communication, connection with nature, community, free giving, conscious and sacred sexuality. Supporting people in growing, flourishing, shining, out of their challenges. This is my gift to give in this lifetime. In my journey I've spent years making software etc. but I've been struggling for years now with the realization that when life is simple, food is local and there's no hierarchy, we don't seem to need 99.9% of the tech we've invented. I'm enjoying time in nature and finding that screen time is a distraction that makes my thinking brain work but doesn't satisfy my soul. So if we stopped the capitalist race-to-self-destruction, perhaps we wouldn't need stuff like ForgeFed in the first place.So, I'm sort of a non-digital nomad enjoying foraging, being 1 with nature & people, hugging trees, building with mud, freely giving my gifts...
