@kev @mike If you make a lot of screenshots and need to make some highlights or removals on it, I'd recommend flameshot: https://github.com/lupoDharkael/flameshot

Dear #selfhosted fediverse friends. What do you use to self-host music? I've tried Plex but it requires a subscription to offline sync on mobile (I don't mind paying for a mobile app, but a subscription is a no-no).

@tapani Very straightforward on all machines I have it set up (linux, windows and macos). If you do it first on the same network it's even easier because each instance will find each other, after that you only add the folders and that's it. I've my XDG folders (Pictures, Documents, etc) sync with this between computers, you can also create "receive only" nodes to act as backup only.

Anyone in the fediverse have a #lobsters invite to spare? Being a reader is nice and all, but I'd want to upvote some nice content found in there.

@kev Did you have iCloud Drive enabled and syncing your Desktop/Documents folders with it? `System Preferences > Apple ID . iCloud Drive > Options... > Desktop & Documents Folders`. It *may* be the cause. Not that finder or the OS should break for something like that, but since everything Apple is so tightly coupled together I wouldn't be surprised.

@kev can't some of that stuff be automated via GitHub Actions? That would help maintaining the site and reviewing old/new submissions.

@kev I not embarrassed to say that I used to think like that (early 20s), but priorities changes and your job can't be your hobby 24/7, there are other things in life to spent time on.

@mike do you have a gaming mouse with variable refresh rate? I got this happening to me on my windows 10 machine (just for games) and it was pretty annoying. Turns out it was my mouse refresh interval, I changed it on the logitech software and it never happened again.
