@vandys I wonder about that.*if* we are talking about a "cabal" or network of families that go back a thousand years, I mean - let's not be so dumb or so naive as to underestimate them.Admittedly I have at times gotten the sense that the newer/younger members of these families are kind of stoopid (I'm looking at you Hunter, and you, Hillary, oh and George as well) - so it may just be that they are being undone by their own arrogance. But still, 100's of generations of public manipulation and of gaming the collective human psyche? One does not simply walk into that and overturn it all.

That's my homeland you're talkin' about :)Most (all?) of the black people in SA migrated here from countries just north of it, pretty much around the same time that the Europeans got here, actually.The only real exception would be the San / Koisan people who've been here *forever*.The history of SA, as it pertains to "race issues" and "racial tension" here, is much more complicated than most people realise, especially given that *most* of the true history has been hidden or erased and the public fed lies (no surprise there).My point is only that you *really* have to be careful generalising like that.Inflaming racial tension serves no meaningful purpose. Least of all in a country like ours where we we pretty much have no other choice than to "get along".
