@alice I would think so, hopefully. If shipping fails I am going to look into this. For now we have checked the japanese post and all the local japanese express mail services, which apparently just don't ship medical stuff at all: refused. the last option is DHL though it costs a fortune. if that fails I have to make some phone calls here in Sweden and see what happens.

yesterday climbed to the top of a bluff and sat in the sun there with a picnic and read aloud to my partner like 50 pages of stories out a book we have been reading, this was so so so nice and something I want to keep doing a lot β€οΈ

@Citiza thank you so much for this! this is precisely the cause, and it is all clear, it's just a situation that has to be lived through. but I am hoping to have a conversation or two in the next days that will resolve at least some of the things that are keeping me up, and get some sleep as a result

If you're in Tokyo, there's a demonstration against the "no children" condition for gender marker change from 1830-2000 in front of Yurakucho Station. Yes, it's true: if you have children under the age of 20, you aren't allowed to change your legal gender in Japan. This is 2021.
