@LisSmith @BobLefridge yes I know, not without some enormous tectonic shift from the Nats. On the other hand, if the planet is going to survive (or just to avoid Aotearoa becoming a pariah state that the rest of the world won’t deal with) then even those whacky righties need to get with the program sometime.

@StereoIncognito @BobLefridge @LisSmith I think there would have to be a few more policy reversals than just that one. As a minimum:1. Less mindless road building and more PT2. At least as much effort on climate change as Labour3. Quit the beneficiary bashing4. And a wealth tax or CGT5. Quit oil and gas exploration and mining in DOC land
