I've noticed a lot of folks jumping over to LBRY as well. Understandably, all videos being in a single location makes for easier discovery, I really think PeerTube is a better platform given most folk's reasons for leaving YouTube.

""Mastadon"" being the word the general public uses to refer to anything Mastadon is able to communicate with has already taken hold. It will be extremely surprising if it ever wanes. Best we can do is to continue to educate those who care enough to not remain ignorant.The same sorta problem with spreadsheets and presentations has persisted for quite some time now. And how bout them tiny little music players? Or all those audio shows we catalogue via RSS?

Don't remove the kernel you're currently using until you're sure you got the one you built working the way you want. Maybe even then, still keep the distkernel there as a fallback.
