@ricci @jonny Side note: my fediverse server is hosted on a bare metal instance at OVH (along with other VMs on that server) but not on any kind of service. Rolled my own on a Linux VM.

And I have to own up to not knowing my DS history as well as I should. My parents had one when I was a kid in the early 70s, so that’s mentally how I’d tagged it, but this is more likely a model from the 60s (or maybe even the 50s !!!)

@futurebird It's not a subscription since they don't offer one, but I try and get each issue of Food & Drink from the LCBO when they come out for the recipe ideas. They are online at https://www.lcbo.com/content/lcbo/en/food-and-drink/landing.html but flipping through the paper copy with the glorious photos is a pleasure

I have also added a self-imposed limit of no more than 5 cables of any given type. All of the excess goes into labelled bags in the bin for the annual brocante (neighborhood garage sale).Next up: power supplies, then power cables, then ethernet cables, then fibre, oh god it never ends…
