@msh @cypnk have you looked at the spectrum next? it's basically a FPGA in a zx spectrum-like enclosure (with less awful keyboard and modern input/outputs)I'm not sure how open the design is though

@steko @rysiek yeah, I don't have hard data on this but I know I read articles about reinfections (doctors and supposedly cured patients) at least in Japan so I'm not really sure about the herd immunity thingunless there's a vaccine of course, that would be ideal

@SpindleyQ @RobF music-making software is probably the poster-child for awful discoverability (as in "learning by fiddling with things"), I've seen people with musical training physically recoil the first time they see or try a recent DAWif you can find a very early version of fruity loops I'd recommend that, that's the only approachable thing I can remembersame with publishing, what happened to publisher? it was perfect for zine-making
