@viciousviscosity The last real D&D game I played was AD&D 2nd edition when it was still TSR. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ This is the first time I've played in ... (yikes) decades, and my players are all first time table-top RPG players. Fate seemed like a nice, rules-light approach, that didn't require everyone to buy a bunch of books and such. (Also it looked like fun in the videos I watched.)

@viciousviscosity Finding anything else to get absorbed by, to knock the needle out of the groove, so to speak.Could be music, could be meditation, could be work, could be fun. Could be physical or mental. Just has to be different, and engaging. (Thanks to vinyl hipsters for extending the shelf life of the needle/groove metaphor!)

@kensanata I saw this and wonder if they're going to suspend paid subscriptions that are using ad-blockers too...

@kensanata I don't know, but I should hope not!I assume they could still detect ad-blockers though, and casting too wide a net to allay shareholder fears seems likely exactly the kind of dumb move a company might make.

These are the kittens I'm assured we're "just fostering", Trixie (larger) and Mugicha (smaller). They are rescues from the feral colony near our old house.

@veer66 I'm don't know your use case for wanting to transform the pointer to a vector of bytes...But if you just need the address of the memory the pointer refers to, this would do it for you.
