@dsfgs #peakoil started in the 70s in US, probably peaked globally around 2008 for actual oil. The fraking fiasco worked for around 10 years and now it's for sure a global peak for all oil sources (low quality included)

Veo muchos navegadores y proyectos de navegadores. Lo que necesitamos es un motor de búsqueda Que funcione con permacomputación y software libre. Que no indexe cada mierda en redes sociales y noticias al segundo. Que no priorice según la fama de la página sino según la relevancia del contenido. Modesto, que pueda almacenarse en servidores locales de una universidad o institución.Puede hacerse. Si alguien quiere que montemos un proyecto de investigación lo hacemos.

Gracias por compatir! No es un proyecto fácil pero es factible. Hay mucha gente aquí que sabe mucho de tecnología y que trabajamos en universidades.Hay herramientas para la infraestructura (Hadoop, Kubernetes). Tenemos la base teórica y sabemos las dificultades. Merece la pena explorarlo. Hay que indexar de otra manera. O al menos ofrecer la alternativa.Un motor de búsqueda son tres cosas:1) crawler: descargar internet2) indexer: clasificar contenidos3) ranking: priorizar contenidos[sigo]

3) está cubierto, es la parte que hacen muchos navegadores, pero lo hacen a partir de los pasos 1-2 hechos por A) Google o B) Microsoft (Bing).Por qué, porque la infraestructura es ingente. Bueno, no tan ingente ya, pero importante. No vamos a competir con ellos en escala o inmediatez, la idea es competir en calidad pero sobre todo en apertura y optimización de recursos.1) Descargar internet da miedo, pero no es técnicamente difícil. El problema es el almacenamiento, pero tampoco es terrible

El contenido estable de la red no ha crecido muchísimo desde hace décadas. Ha explotado en contenido multimedia y dinámico (redes sociales, noticias), pero si nos limitamos a texto en páginas estáticas, no es para tanto. Y se puede limitar por dominios para empezar, o hacer configurable.El indexado puede dar más problemas, pero de nuevo, no veo razones técnicas insalvables para intentarlo. Tal vez soy muy optimista, pero creo que merece el intento, o al menos la prospección.

It always adds up.Besides, uranium world reserves are on decline, wastes are NOT a solved issue by far, and nuclear is oil dependent just as renewables are. All are byproducts of fossils, because of mining, production, transport, maintenance and, in nuclear, containment for 100k years and accidents

Basically they have fed us with the fallacy that pacific protests deliver, putting as an example sufragism, civil rights, Mandela and Gandhi.Well, it's basically false on every single case. Sufragists threw stones to politicians and recur to arson, MLK had a counterpart on Malcom X that the former admired, the same with Gandhi on Baghat Singh and, well, Mandela put bombs and recur to sabotage when needed.
