I'm currently running a fediverse relay at https://relay.awoo.today - if you're a furry instance admin, please consider adding it, as it will greatly help smaller instances!I will keep maintaining this relay for the foreseeable, and will probably switch this to a request-form instead of open registration in the near future.

@PhenomX6 Hi, I just wanted to reach out about this.The instances on this relay are a community that tends to be more moderated, but there are other furry instances out there with more lax moderation rules, and it would be good to have another relay going for that. Pleroma's software is pretty lightweight.I've seen plenty of furries leave due to not fitting with the communities in this particular bubble, and I think it's mainly just people joining the wrong instances for them.

@PhenomX6 A separate relay, and maybe a big instance you could share around, could go a long way to help that.The fediverse is a big place, and there's no reason why people should have to feel they're being pushed out by strict rules with nowhere else to go, right?

I tried joining a larger, generalist Mastodon instance, and boy howdy are their Federated timelines complete firehoses. No wonder everyone's sticking to the Local timelines.The ActivityPub Groups feature in Mastodon can't come soon enough, methinks.

As a single-user instance, I might not have to deal with sudden upticks in new users, but I'm interested to see how well my poor little sidekiq can handle more people posting. However bad it gets for me, I can only imagine the load on everyone else's servers.Keep up the good work, y'all.
