Some time ago, I showed a picture how I used #Kotlin to write #UnitTests in JUnit that look a little bit like Cucumber...Now I have been playing around with this idea some more in the Gilded Rose kata.Writing the tests is not as quick as @emilybache 's approach using Approvals, but I like how the tests turn out.Would you be interested in a blog post+video showing this approach? New setup to record a camera and my screen simultaneously using MultiRec, with only one laptop: I mirror the screen to an "external monitor", where that external monitor is a capture card on the same laptop 😅How do others do that (simultaneously record live coding and a camera feed)?Also, I should probably open source MultiRec, since I don't provide a download anymore...

The #ChineseElm #bonsai grows *wild* this year. Today I removed all the shoots that I'll definitely not need in the next design phase. If everything works out like planned, the tree should have more energy for the remaining shoots and grow them even more vigorously.(But nothing ever works out exactly like planned with plants 😄 )

Today I pinched the tips from all the branches I want to keep of my #juniper #bonsai, but not from the "sacrifice" branches I want to jin later. The idea is to stimulate dense growth and ramification in the branches I want to keep, and long growth and thickening in the branches I want to jin.Will it work? I have no idea 🙈 😅 I guess I will find out! @bonsai

I wired my little... don't even know exactly what they are... cypress? yesterday.I almost broke some branches because they are sooo soft. I hope that, with a little cut past, the'll heal again.Used silver wire because it's easier to find when it's time to remove again. And because those are not finished bonsai anyway.#bonsai @bonsai

Bought this beech from a batch of cheap hedge plants. It was almost 2m high, but had very low branches, so I decided to chop it above the first branch.Will it survive? Will it backbud enough so that I can make a very small #bonsai out of it? Will I be able to thicken the lower trunk more? Hope so!@bonsai
