@drawandstrike I sure hope you’re both taking an anticoagulant (“blood thinner“). Aspirin is a good choice for most. Second week of covid many of us clot inappropriately.

@StevenDouglas Wow! When I lived in Minneapolis I frequently enjoyed Vietnamese food, and never found a bottled “fish sauce” that even came close. No Vietnamese restaurants in my rural neighborhood, but glad I can now replicate something I loved. Thanks for sharing!!!

@EarlThePearls @Debradelai @AngryDuey @tacit My daughter in second grade had completed the fourth grade reading materials halfway through the school year, and abruptly refused to read anything for years when the teacher told her she couldn’t read The Wizard of Oz “because it wasn’t at her level.”That setback was the last straw for conventional schooling, but she is still extremely stubborn about reading and seldom reads for pleasure, as she had been before this incident.

@masterblaster If you have an opportunity to read the comments for this article some cogent points are made about how data has been manipulated to reach the conclusion that masks are effective. I would refer particularly to the commentary of r. hirsch.I did my own medical literature search on masks awhile back. The only study in humans showing masks work for influenza found that they worked only if the subject was also gloved, gowned, and wearing goggles.

@watch4thedrop You can break up an aspirin and put the pieces in the cavity, if there’s room. You can do the same with cloves or use topical clove oil. What I like best is to coat the tooth with sensodyne, multiple times per day. Don’t bother rinsing. If you can hear it’s not a middle ear infection. If it’s swimmers ear the outside of the ear will be painful to touch and you can put vinegar in it (“Vosol” is just acetic acid).Amitriptyline works for tooth pain but is Rx and causes 😴

@wziminer @Teneseo @Greenthumb1776 I used just azithromycin initially because it has a known side effect of reducing airway inflammation. Started with that and albuterol nebs before published protocols were available. My colleagues here in central MN STILL AREN’T TREATING COVID UNLESS YOU ARE SICK ENOUGH TO BE HOSPITALIZED.They are all corporate employees and it’s all political. Strange times.

@watch4thedrop This doesn’t surprise me. I have tried ivermectin in covid patients and am not impressed. If one more person says, “but did you read the testimonials” I may gag them with a mask…

@watch4thedrop I have written a few but use the opportunity to explain how the vaccine works and why all the paranoia is unwarranted.I’m having to fight a tendency to be really PISSED when people who had ample opportunity to get the vaccine choose to become seriously ill instead— and drag me into dealing with the consequences of their poor choice.

@hejoural He is a con artist. This might only be an attempt to generate sympathy (and associated income).Don’t worry, he’s got lots more baloney on offer. There’s a reason he’s been unlicensed for years and it’s called unhinged medical recommendations.

@watch4thedrop We enjoy laughing about the grammar and spelling errors in subtitles. My husband has some hearing loss and generally subtitles are helpful to him.

@watch4thedrop @umad80 @Debradelai I probably have some patients doing that right now. There is a religion around avoiding modern medical interventions including vaccines and pharmaceuticals.Funny how they end up in my office (and your store) anyway, natural cures being so effective…

@redwhitebluedude Yes. Multidrug resistant TB, leprosy, syphilis are all on the rise here. So is malaria. I didn’t read this article but this is what I’m reading in medical publications.
