@PNS At least they included a "don't tip more" note at the bottom. I'm actually okay with how this was presented on the bill. Its an admission that the whole wage system for servers is broken.tips used to be a reward but the whole system has built them in as a standard part of compensation.

@PNS I agree, that would be the honest way to do it. Though, honorable people already look at the menu and add 20% in their head to the price. I've had similar pricing challenges in IT project work. Everyone expects that change orders will add 50% cost to the project. So honest pricing prevents you from having the chance to prove you are honest. Thus even a huge sign that said "Don't tip, we pay the staff better than that, that's why our prices are higher" probably would backfire.

@CSB I think Vance makes a better front man. Rubio can get stuff done while Vance is in the spotlight.Now that said, they'll have a tough time getting elected if/when the economy collapses, but we'll see.

@CSB policies aside, Vance is faster on his feet in a "everyman" relatable way that Rubio isn't. I personally detest H1-B visas, which is part of why, in a down economy, it would be hard for a republican win. I don't think most will hold his wife against him.

@CSB depends on where you are. The Midwest knows how to clear snow and ice but salt stops melting ice below a certain temperature. The South? A trace amount of snow or freezing rain and they're done for days. So this weekend is a nightmare for places south of the Mason Dixon line.

@PNS bring a gun or don't but if the cops try to arrest you and you put up a fight that gun will get you shot. If you don't mean to get shooting or get shot, then either leave the gun at home or don't resist when given orders or arrested. Now if you intend to start shooting, well that's what the second amendment was for but don't be surprised at the response. You've made a decision and decisions have consequences.
