       @gabek People in general don't understand federation because they are used to sign up for a service and expect all their friends to be on the same service or server. If you mention different servers their mind is blown and all you get is a stare.Federated services will never be mainstream.

       @rysiek @gabek In today's world email would never take off. It has the advantage it was invented early on. Email is also getting more and more centralised, everybody is using Gmail nowadays.
