@littlemiao The Shield/Star of David is not an uniquely Jewish symbol. It's nowadays almost exclusively used by jews (and we to a good degree have the Nazis to thank for that), but it used to be a symbol in Christianity as the "Creator's Star" and in Islam as the "Seal of Solomon".

@tomw Which is why we should focus on libraries as *infrastructure*. Librarians are responsible for keeping that infrastructure alive, and the job of libraries isn't to store books, it's to *make knowledge accessible*. So a well kept library shouldn't allow those billion books to be added because for all their text, they don't add knowledge.

Addendum: I will also gladly take any recommendations in those areas that aren't specifically cryptography-centered! A good general explanation of e.g. quantum computing — like 3blue1brown's recent video — is very much useful to me too!
