@ZachWeinersmith what platforms do cartoonists use? Agreed the steaming services for music have a poor payout but surprisingly Amazon is closer to the top of the better payers than the bottom. Merch, live and direct sales will be better for musicians in general. But streaming numbers do help artists with booking festivals and whatnot and their socials.

@futurebird they are mysterious and temperamental. I did cook a small amount of rice the other day and it did stick to the bottom of it, I just scraped it off and ate it, instead of the normal which is making enough rice for 5 large families.

@futurebird that happened when I started to play rugby. I thought I was a back passing and running but in every ruck or maul I wanted to go help so I was them plucked and put in as a forward where I felt very much more at home. Aren't ants just wonderful at organising themselves though.

@davidrevoy this is not ok. In your shoes I would write to Temu Boston headquarters with a cease and desist to allowing your copyrighted work being sold without consent and it breaches your moral right which is the right to be named as the creator, which really means that they have voided the creative commons licence and I'd send an invoice with it for a very large sum. Happy to help. In some instances justice is fought in small steps. It is lovely artwork btw.

@futurebird I think in the eponymous smart casual category that painting one foot on smart island a good piece enables that, shoes I think certainly are important but also quality accessories, maybe a tasty belt, bag, watch, jewellery, hat, shirt or a garment that is brand new will elevate the overall look. I say this as someone who would wear sandals and shorts all year if possible. I've been finding though that a Janus ring has been giving my recent outfits almost the look of thoughtfulness.

@futurebird it is a weird vibe and definitely not one that makes sense or should be entertained. Bored people in faux positions of power are the ones to watch though. He could maybe justify it as shop lifting proactivity but really it is probably the worst kind of profiling and he's just getting practice for when he gets to where his big boy pants for ICE. Sluggards everywhere.

@futurebird an old company seal I bought at an auction once, the business is long gone but I like think one day it could be the name of a collective bargaining co-operative I create to get better prices for people for things like childcare or nursing homes or something, it's also a nice designed stamp which is also totally unconnected to me so a little mysterious red herring
