@trevdev @Gina I second this. In addition, I would add @Linux4Everyone @DestinationLinux and for a bit of intrigue wind of change https://crooked.com/podcast-series/wind-of-change/

@ghil @mike @benoitj @kev Netlify has the ability to connect to GitHub/lab and build your site automatically when you push changes

@cooper Not a lot of experience with either but from everything I've heard #nextcloud is the best option

@kev They make some good points in this article. However... They pass over the universal package factor, which is literally the reason I use Flatpak. Also "containerized" apps, despite the issues they point out, mostly don't have root access, and they stay up to date.

@kev fair enough- There's no such thing as a perfect technology. Especially when your talking about the universal packaging formats (I use all 3) everything has advantages and disadvantages.

@mike @GreyLinux wish I could afford a PinePhone/tab😢 If I could at this point I think at this point I would go with phosh on mobian or arch. For now I can only look at YouTube videos and salivate. I do really appreciate what Pine is doing because they aren't trying to target consumers which allows them to ship imperfect devices, giving app/platform developers something to target

@hund I'm using a Hugo template which uses Java Script. I could research whether there are some that don't, or is that something you're familiar with.

@mike just installed Mycroft Gui (after reading you blog post). It seems pretty good considering it was not designed as a desktop app. I wonder if this could be installed on the pine phone? That could be useful.

@urusan I use Hugo with Netlify. I would say as far as ease setting it up it's probably 4 or 5 out of 10 with 1 being write.as or some similar service and 10 being self hosted html/css.
