I’ve seen some skepticism, and even ridicule over my proposal, but I think this would be a tactical win for Apple. Standing up for the core talent of the industry would be a sure way to attract the best for future shows.

If you're a Mac user who has always used Chrome because somebody told you to, may I suggest you switch to Safari? It's a great browser, and Apple has (thus far) zero incentive to track or monetize your use of the web.

These days, if anybody (ahem, me) says they have "never had Covid", it's inevitable that somebody pipes in "as far as you know." Yes, I know it's possible to have Covid and show no symptoms, but maybe you shouldn't be in the habit of dismissing somebody's self-proclaimed status?

The truth is I think it's very likely I have never had Covid because I work from home, avoided public spaces for 3 years, and almost always wore a mask around other people. I think some people (not all!) who have had Covid underestimate the degree of caution others have taken.

Most Americans did not even get last year's amazing booster shot. So I hope that anybody who challenges my record of "never getting covid" has also made every effort not to get it.

Ask ChatGPT "What is" a penis, a clitoris, a g spot, a labia, a scrotum, a vulva, etc. Every anatomical term relating to a man results in an answer, and every term relating to a woman yields an answer that is quickly replaced with "this content may violate our content policy." Lady parts are bad, mmkay!?

I am so proud of myself and my society that my 15yo boy can come home and tell me nonchalantly about one of his best male friend's boyfriend. Like it's nothing. This is the future we want. Never would have flown in my childhood. And I'm sure it doesn't fly many places today.

I agree that Governor Noem's killing of her dog was savage, and her defiance against our judgment is telling. But what if it had been a pig? We have a mixed up moral code about which animals are OK to slaughter, and when.

It's surreal, as a 50 year old man, to live in the timeline I always dreaded. When I was a teenaged punk in the SF Bay Area, we lamented the HINTS at fascism that were evident in the worst of our elected representatives. Here we are, 30+ years later and all of our paranoia is coming true, triple-fold.
