@sir API looks similar. Simple--- const WebSocket = require('uws');+++ const WebSocket = require('ws');might be enough, or am I missing something?

@sir you can tell makepkg to use tar instead of tar.xz by setting $PKGEXT

@viralstitch @sir there's my (full) golang implementation. With encryption/decryption too. Want to check it out? https://github.com/cnt0/gooseAs for C implementation, I'd just copy everything from nacl library. Very clear code (but needs some preprocessing)

@sir remember how arch maintainers refused to add vscode to their repos because of their "electron apps must use system-wide /usr/bin/electron" policy. Microsoft (of all companies) ended up fixing this issue, and look at this package now:https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/code/nothing binary at all, has electron as its dependency. I can't imagine such stuff in flatpak ecosystem.

@sir git remotes support miltiple urls. I'm using this feature to sync my passwords. This can also be useful for swaywm, which is hosted on github and sr.ht

@sir "free" means "I can pick any license for my projects". If this is not the case for sr.ht, then I'm not going to use this instance. Also, "FSF or OSI approved license" means empowering these organizations. I despise them.
