@md I like the idea, BUT I wonder how many ppl have given API access to this tool. Giving the tool and it's maintainers access to their protected tweets, amongst other stuff.It's a privacy nightmare.

@md @Luca I totally get that, and I think it's a massive win for the fediverse migration. Besides I actually checked the API level needed for DMs :+)Just saying, because a lot of users do in fact just click API auth requests by any 3rd pt app. And I bet I can run the code and tweak it to request write access with DMs and someone will allow it, peer pressure or whatever.And could also state that the code is open source and just link Luca's repo. Can you verify my web app runs that code though?

@md @Luca also ok c):I'm not in your bubble but I've seen the link being recommended on Twitter by people that have no idea what it means and how it works :)(I even used it myself, I just think ppl should take it with a grain of salt. And too many ppl click everything they see anyway without thinking)

Amazon now offers passkey, BUT still requires a code after authenticating, and send the code by sms and email (yes, both)they offer MFA on top, where you have the chance to add a phone number (that they clearly already have...) or an OTP authenticator (which makes no sense when you already have passkey/webauthn in place)this is so weird and i guess someone did not understand MFA.
