TIL potatoes are members of the nightshade family and closely related to tomatoes. Potato flowers look like tomato flowers except for color - tomato flowers are yellow, but potato flowers are white, lavender, or pink. Potatoes only go to fruit in cold wet summers. A potato fruit looks like a green cherry tomato, but is highly toxic. Planted potato seeds take years to grow into a plant with edible tubers, which is why they are normally grown asexually by planting the tubers.

@RyunoKi @Gargron i know of a couple, but one said "Mastodon is too much work. It might be the solution, but I doubt it", and the good communities I know that have given up on Facebook and Twitter have all moved to Discord.Discord bothers me because I find the channel structure a bit overwhelming, and of course they are in buyout talks with Microsoft.

Went to see #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce Was it good? Yes. I enjoyed it a lot. It dragged in parts, and some bits just felt off, but I would recommend it to people who like weird movies.Was it a sequel, prequel, remake, reboot, preboot, spinoff, or based on an existing IP? No. It used the multiverse concept we've seen in Rick & Morty, The Flash, and Spider-Man, but in a very different way.Was it a drama, comedy, sci-fi, or an action movie? Yes.
