I believe that he's never met one. #TheMandalorian, season 3, episode 4O M G. I had to watch that flashback scene again after I finished the show. It wasn't until we got to the end of the show that I saw the credit for Ahmed Best and had to think about who he was before realizing he was the Jedi who saved Grogu.Seeing Order 66 play out like that was so sad. So Grogu was at the academy at that time? So that means something like 30 years have passed between both time periods.

The fight scene between the mandalorians and mother pterodactyl-like creature was pretty awesome. But what's with all the prehistoric creatures that inhabit the planet? Are they just an extra test during their training, or did they just pick a really bad planet to settle in?The symbol on Grogu's chest plate seemed familiar but I couldn't place it.Gotta find out the name of Bo Katan 's ship. A friend was able to get us a walk-up spot to #OgasCantina yesterday. And there's apparently a new-ish drink. It sounded good, so I tried the alcoholic blue bantha drink. It looked pretty and was tasty but didn't taste or feel alcoholic. Watched the 2 episodes that dropped last night of the second season of #CruelSummer (on #Freeform then #Hulu the next day). I really enjoyed the first season so was looking forward to this. It's an anthology series in that the seasons aren't related but use the same format.There are three time periods covered over a period of 12 months, each six months apart. The color hue is your clue to the time period - "regular" color is July 1999, blue hue is December 1999 and green hue is July 2000. 1/2

I hadn't really been interested in seeing #BarbieMovie, but then I heard various things about it, enough to convince me to go, so I went with friends last night.Overall, I liked the movie, though I thought the pacing was off in parts. #MargotRobbie was terrific, and I enjoyed others in the film as well. /1

I'll admit that I had a really hard time watching #KingsleyBenAdir in #BarbieMovie , even though I liked him, because I'd just watched the season finale of #SecretInvasion earlier this week, and the whiplash from such different tones was hard to handle. But that shows how good he is, being able to do such differing roles so well. /2

Once I realized #BarbieMovie was opening with an homage sequence to 2001: A Space Odyssey, I was applauding. Absolutely brilliant. And it fit perfectly into telling the story.I was a little surprised that there wasn't more of a reaction from the crowd, but it might be because it was a late Friday night crowd on the second weekend. /4
