@StevenDouglas Paternalistic condescension is a hallmark of the Left generally. Only the elite tier of the ruling class are allowed to make policy decisions because the lumpenproletariat might make poor choices. It's a flimsy excuse for totalitarianism and authoritarianism. If our educational system had not been infiltrated and compromised by the Left, more people would see it for what it is.

@darulharb @Kalus I've never understood that argument about gun violence in places like Chicago. They say people can go to Indiana, where apparently guns are just laying around ankle-deep on the ground and bring them back to Chicago. But they never explain the disparity in gun violence between the two places.They don't explain it because it's cultural, it's not the availability of firearms that explains it. And that's way too fraught a subject to explore.

@ThomasWic I agree that it had to happen this way to be successful. The catastrophic implosion of the MSM is moving faster than I would have thought possible. This week's retraction of the manufactured "fire extinguisher bludgeoning murder" is only the latest example of how callous and careless the 'journalist' class is with the truth, and MANY more people's eyes are wide open to it.

@ThomasWic Nothing is as it seems on the surface right now in Afghanistan. Our own government seems the most out of step with the reality of the situation. I know a lot of their misinformation is cynical political propaganda, but most of it seems to be based in genuine cluelessness.
