@stux but the reason i don't have one might also help you:have you ever tried one?!they get insanely hard to setup to see anything more than the moon or your neighbor, and even then, looking at the planets can become very disappointing.i really rather keep scrolling on #fedi 🤣 or lie naked on the night garden to just admire the little left from the stars lost due to light pollution.

@stux personally the only reason i would personally block any instance will always be "spam", in the generic sense.even targeting doesn't really bother me, and yes, i lived a targeted life even though it may not look like.however...i would love to come up with strategies to fight against such stupidity, and i think the best strategy goes somewhere near empathy. 🥰just don't ask me (yet) any further insight as i just came up with this one and it will take some time to process it in my background mind, i guess! 🤣

@s8n @mrman what the skeleton image mean in both cases?i just had an interesting although unpleasent text chat with an unkown friend over it, because it bothered pers profoundly.here i give you what i would do, and have done, as an instance admin:if it means something like "i hate this" for sure even facebook would ignore it.in my case, i would only add a warning (never delete non-spam, in principle), instead of deleting, if it explicitly said "i love this".in #fedi i don't think we can add warning, so i might collapse it. not sure yet.and thank you for keeping a free heart! 🥰

@s8n @mrman try again.i do no censoring, ever. why the fuck do you think i use #fedi? 🤣but i do delete spam, especially of the flooding type.(and, outside the computer world, of course i have much heavier filters, but i rather not go into this topic right now, just thought it might help to clarify the context)people mistake freedom for control.

@nerdtronics @captainepoch i don't care for prototypes and pioneering this year.i just want a phone like vollax, could use ubuntu touch, nixos, or even volla os, with emacs thought for #pocketonlycomputer - no other gadget required.full mobile. simple.i tried everything else you've mentioned and some more, hardware wise. it doesn't work for my lifestyle.not only that, i am mostly glad with my current setup. just looking to improve it, and migrating to mobile emacs will surely be fun to try.

@aworldinpages @thor @helenaroth i never had a single good experience in many different dating apps i've tried. and never spent a dime as well, perhaps that adds to the bad experience.then again, i also blame myself... but only in the dating aspect. i never enjoyed dating games and i take pride in my relationships.my life gets much better with people who talk and think things through, without games.
