       @BigJackBrass @Luccus @cstross My landlord in the U.S. once explained to me that the imperial system is more intuitive because these values are derived the human body. He showed my his thumb which was an inch wide. I held mine next to it. There the discussion ended. 👍 😅And: did you know that the inch is  officially defined in metric terms hence metric itself?

Er forderte, dass das Budget für die Kindergärten halbiert und das für die Gefängnisse verdoppelt wird. Als man ihn fragte wieso, sagte er: "Wenn ich abgesetzt werde, komme ich nicht in den Kindergarten."
