@tyil Pragtig hoe het document “imagoschade voorkomen” noemt als reden voor kwaliteit. In plaats van … soepele werking van de organisatie.

@tyil I find that Telegram Desktop is extraordinarily good software for today’s standards. Would be nice if it could be forked and made to use libpurple instead of talking to Telegram’s servers.

Did Apple patent search fields for menu bars or something? Nobody else is implementing this crucial feature.

I decided to make my COBOL compiler generate code that takes a vtable for the environment. For instance, when you call COBOL from C, you can pass a callback that will be called when data needs to be written to SYSOUT. The “default environment” writes to stdout in that case, but a GUI may want to write to a widget and that is now also possible.

@tyil Apparently you can take any gist url, add .js to it and it’ll render the markdown and document.write that.

@tyil Well this is less work because you can update the gist and it will automatically reflect, and there’s no need for server-side code on your part.I guess you could do an iframe.

Step 1 to keeping documentation up-to-date with your program is to put it in the same goddamn version control repository as your program.

youtube-dl should do fine for the majority of the content, but having it organized and also having the text content and the quizzes would be amazing.

Is there libre command-line software that can extract songs from Spotify into MP3? It would be extremely nice to have.
