@jrballesteros05 Is there a specific reason why you don't like Signal? I use it as both my SMS app and messaging app on my CalyxOS phone. Just curious in case I have overlooked something

@jrballesteros05 Totally get the centralized part, yes Telegram is better but to get people to move away from WhatsApp to Telegram is a stretch.Not sure about your F-Droid comment as that is where I downloaded Signal from. The version on F-Droid is 5.0.8 updated 30/12/2020

@jrballesteros05 Given that it is open source wouldn't be great is we could create a spin of it that used the kind of fediverse concept. That way there would be no centralised point of failure

@jrballesteros05 sorry, just realiised it is included in the 'CalyxOS Local Repository', so in the famous words "it's not you it's me".I don't know if you can add this into your own F-Droid?

@metalune I used fedora as a I bought a Lenovo ideapad and it was one of the few that worked with the trackpad. I love it
