       @Penelope @stux Finland is sadly not “democratic socialist”, it’s a market economy with a strong welfare state (aka the Nordic model).

       @Penelope @stux still not democratic socialist, especially when the governments are social democratic at best. Finland has a centre-left coalition (with this being an exception as Finland has historically preferred grand coalitions that include centre-right and centre-left parties) between the Social Democratic Party, the Centre Party (agrarian), the Green League, the Left Alliance and the Swedish People's Party so it's far from democratic socialist.

       @Penelope @stux hahaha no, sorry if the previous toot seemed as rude, but like considering social democracy as democratic socialism is the reason why we'll never achieve democratic socialism unless there's a public consciousness pushing towards it
