Someone has sent me a signal message inviting me to dinner and I have no memory of anything that lead up to this.Why can I remember quotes from critical theory and details of the plots to every single episode of 'Three's Company', but not conversations I've had in the last week or the names of anyone I haven't met about 100 times already?

Being masc is fine and good. Using gender as a means to unjust power is bad. So how does one queer mascness in a way that disrupts power, but won't throw masc folks into dysphoria?My answer: floral prints. Ties are masc. Super masc. They can be pinks with purple flowers on them and they're still masc. Ditto flat caps. Also men's shirts with Liberty prints.

Leave your phone at home sometimes. Maybe turn it off.Make it a normal thing that you do and that other people might do.If your country is becoming unsafe for LGBT people or for the kind of protesting that's usually allowed in liberal democracies, then it's important that it be completely normal that someone might go to the shops or the cinema or out for a picnic without their phone.Do it in solidarity, even if news don't personally effect you. /Especially/ if they don't effect you.
