@nipos @mobilsicher iOS ist voll mit Trackern. Und bei Android auch. F-Droid in allen Ehren. Aber wieviel Prozent der Android User kennt/nutzt das?

@DU_HW_IO @kuketzblog @schreierco die Mails werden doch vor dem Eintreffen auf den Servern von Hetzner von entspr. Institutionen durchleuchtet (sofern Interesse). Bei Tutanota läuft alles über Hetzner. Also... eher nicht zu empfehlen.

@kuketzblog Das ist zu komplex die Aussage... ;-) Selbst bei der parallelen Nutzung von WhatsApp oder Facebook verstehen das Viele nicht. Willkommen in der heutigen Welt. Über die Mobilfunk-Provider und deren Tracking und Datenweitergabe spricht mal wieder überhaupt keiner. Da nützt auch F-Droid nix ;-)

@kuketzblog Was ich tue? Es gut finden. Es ist datenschutzkonform einzusetzen und auch noch gute Software dazu. Oder wo ist das Problem?Windows nutzen sie ja auch alle.

@autobahn_andi @kuketzblog Hi Andy. Ja, Mike Kuketz nutzt selbst auch Mailbox.org als Anbieter. Kann man an div. Stellen nachlesen bzw. es ja auch einfach herausfinden. Bewerten mag ich das nicht. Ich finde es aber nicht schlimm. Schließlich ist Mailbox.org ein sehr guter Anbieter.

@thenewoil Good one. I can only recommend everyone to do the same with Philips Hue! Aliyun, Baidu, Signify, Philips and many many more will get nearly all of your lights on/off data…

@protonmail of course they are. But that’s nothing special and other nearly all do the same. The point is the push token at all. ALL anonymization attempts can be thwarted with push tokens from the APN (Apple) and FCM (Google) services. The Protonmail app only uses push services and offers no alternative. When using IMAP with other providers you can change to pulling messages! So big downside when using protonmail! @thenewoil

@thenewoil that’s it. At the moment no chance to protect metadata. But proton does reveal metadata quite often. Authorities don’t care about the content. It’s all about the metadata. @protonmail @JustaWorkingMan

@oliof Today it was a good one as the app again stopped sending out push messages... Waiting for the next update when 'again' the iOS will disable Face ID authentication as it happened with nearly every other update! They have to work on their software quality a lot. @protonprivacy
