Update from the orange factory. The oranges pickled in local gin, smoked honey, cardamom bitters, Andhra masala mix (cinnamon, clove, coriander) and lavender vinegar is a hit. Pickling 50 more oranges today, guessing there are 650 more on the porch, and there are at least 150 more still on the trees. Gave over 300 oranges away.

We posted 6,000 videos, the channel has 410,000 subscribers and over 130 million views (and since everything is clearly marked no rights reserved, a huge multiplier effect as other people copied the videos to their own channels).

I actually know a lot of lawyers who are also librarians. Many of them are very nice people! One of them is on my board of directors. I've never seen Todd Blanche at any of the industry get-togethers, but he seems like a fun guy.

FWIW, this is my jellyfin server. Aka, my own private netflix. Mac mini, 10g ubiquiti switch, 2 8tb ssds, saw blades, gas line, water, etc, etc I can do 3,000 videos on this setup.

@paul_ipv6 @wendynather Well, so if Microsoft does fix the \s{2,} zero-day bug, there's another one in Microsoft Word they should fix. The software allows the user to type a sentence with two spaces after it, where as only one is allowed by correct typographic procedure. This bug wastes zillions of watts of electricity in data centers that could be otherwise used to create LLMs.
