Formula E, which I've been watching since the first series several years ago, has gone paywall in the UK. Subscribe to Discovery+ to watch.Feck that. I've been subscribing to GCN+ (live world cycling) since it launched 3(?) years ago. Which Discovery binned last month. So now need Discovery+ at double the cost to get far fewer races.Zero loyalty to customers. Zero discounts for long standing customers. I'm fine paying a reasonable amount for a service that gives me high quality content I can't get elsewhere. Particularly for more niche viewing.I'm just so utterly fed up being shat on by the companies that run these services.

@Wolven Quite. I have two workstations and a few laptops. I run Windows on one workstation & laptop because I run software that only runs on Windows (most of it runs on macos, but I don't have any Macs).The rest run Debian stable ... because I have the skillset and the time to split my work over multiple systems.I am absolutely dreading the point where I can no longer run Windows 10 and have to "upgrade" it.

@futurebird @ianturton Okay, so if we select a single area for simplicity and base it around that, once everyone has learned the basics of COBOL they can go on to learn how to do EDI, KANBAN, flat file data stores (of course) and perhaps edge into VMS sysadmining - using miniVAX for cost purposes - while finishing off with concurrent algorithms to allow for multiple VAX working off one central data cluster.Sounds good?
