Arvo, Toots. I woke up wth a migraine at about 5 this morning, not sure if it was dehydration, lack of sleep, the trigeminal neuralgia, or the temperomandibular joint pain (or an interaction of all of the above, or something else entirely), but it was one of those full on, light show and pain migraines. Could have done without it. So I skipped out on the blood test I was meant to have this morning, I’ll do that Friday instead. (Seems appropriate to make the vampires wait unroll the 13th, somehow!)It was another freeeezing cold night here! Unseasonably cold - yes, I know it’s winter - but we’re seeing below average temperatures. It was -2.4 out at Wellcamp Airport this morning (brrr!) and while that’s a fair way from my house, the alleged low of 3 here had a “feels like” of minus something, and my little, uninsulated, wooden house was icy. Lovely sunny blue skies - just very cold! Hope your day has gone well - what are you up to? I’m going to go see if the wash is dry.

No easy way to say this.Wonderdog, dog of my heart, died suddenly yesterday afternoon. She went from snuggling to being very unwell very quickly, and after a rush trip to the emergency vets, we found out her gallbladder enzymes were at levels that indicated a ruptured gallbladder. (Normal levels 50-100, hers were 2000.)She died being held in our arms, knowing she was loved, and in no pain.It's very empty here without her.Hug your fur babies tight, and give them a boop from Wonderdog.

Morning, Toots. I have cancelled today, for reasons of being quite ill with [redacted]. (So much for my exciting denture appointment, that's now another few weeks away, oh well.)In evil neighbour news, there is a painting firm in, and they are NOT happy - there is much thumping about and loud swearing. And some VERY odd smells.
