       @MishaalRahman Amen! I run into this issue a lot when staying at Airbnbs so few have Chromecast support and depending on phone (Pixels) it only supports that. Very frustrating.

       This is me 0% surprised. My ONLY surprise is that Apple let the game play out as long as it did. They're nothing if not petty so perhaps they wanted to give everyone a taste and then pull the rug.        I mean this is potentially huge if real. If they really did reverse engineer it in a white room sense. They seem to be setting up a legal battle with Apple. I'd expect the SMS gateway they authorizes clients to be shut off any moment now. Unless Apple is really feeling the regulatory pressure (RCS news would seem to indicate).
