@strypey "Coherency" is the key word I've been trying to keep in mind since reading Neil Postman's Technopoly. It seems like such a cop-out for teacher's to pass out tablets so their students can search for things. If the teacher won't select for relevance and put those relevancies into an intelligible structure there probably isn't any need for the teacher. Burdened with Bullshit, some might think tablets help them get through the day. But the trend could make teaching positions obsolete?

@redstarfish It took me over 15 years, with two exams seasons a year, but I found a way (in my situation) to make exam time useful, or less wasteful at least. Some finish early so there is a two-sided bi-lingual free-reading sheet for the ones that don't just get needed sleep. I walk around and point out mistakes to the ones that are having trouble. All our time together should be potential learning time...

@strypey Sounds like hemp! But there must be a lot of other useful planst for this. One problem in rural Japan is dealing with all the livestock manure. A great old guy that used air to compost (odor-free!) any thing from abandoned trailers of food-waste to pig-factory manure said they didn't have anything to do with the pleasant result. He could compost-down the Shochu-booze leftover so they were more harmless, but eventually most of his work would end up secretly tossed in the sea mountains.

@noellabo 宮崎県綾町(あゆの山水)の友達のお父さんは鹿児島出身。 鹿児島のどこか忘れたけど、 山からの何々風邪おおかげで立派な干し芋できるところらしい。 南九州の芋もすごいと思います。 びっくりするぐらいデカいのが焼酎になるみたい。 串間市で芋(甘い焼き芋のやつかな？)の農家さんも、 原発企画を止めるために力になったらしいし、 焼き芋も大好きですので、 いろいろな面で感謝、感謝!!

@strypey I got into the 1st song. The image that came to mind was Steve Martin in _The Jerk_ when he first hears white music... All the nostalgia had me looking into them, the 2017 Resurrection Fest live version of the song has Mike Muir looking good, like he's aging well... and and I rediscovered another name: Corrosion of Conformity..
