@TheFuzzStone >Hey @briar, just noticed that you don't accept donations in #Monero (XMR)right, not yet. While you bring it up, I'll gonna check during the next days for a solution that is comfortable enough for us. If you have an advice, I'll take it into account when bringing ideas forward to the rest of the team.

@TheFuzzStone the main concern is, that the current devs don't want to bother with crypto coins.Setting up the wallet isn't the issue here, but how they can use the coins for their living expenses. Trading the coins at some market would be possible, but currently no one is willing to do so. (I would be willing to do so, except that I don't want to identify myself. /syster)1/2

@TheFuzzStone And obviously it must be all done under legal terms (I don't know what that exactly means. Thought something about laws about money laundering that requires the identification of the trade partners or something like that) ...I'm really not well informed on that subject. /syster2/2

Just in case you haven't noticed yet, Briar has an official desktop client. That's the good news! Unfortunate it is still beta and many functions are still missing. (no group chat) If you're curious to give it a try anyway, you'll find it here: https://briarproject.org/download-briar-desktop/Feel invited to report your opinion about it by mentioning @briar. If you're into coding, you're obviously welcome to join in on the matter too. Briar is free software and written in kotlin.

while EU is drafting a new law for #chatcontrol, Briar remains p2p, protects your social graph by using Tor by default and uses e2ee (end to end encryption) for every message by default. Learn more about Briar: https://briarproject.org/Unfortunate #Briar is currently only available for #android.
