@coldacid @purism The various BSD's are lacking greatly in hardware support. Infact, the graphics drivers for AMD GPUs on FreeBSD are just a port of the linux drivers, not a FreeBSD driver.

@shellkr @emzo @omgubuntu The original pinebook laptop that cost $99 dollars will be getting a CPU upgrade kit early next year if the cooling solution they came up with works out.I expect in the future we'll see upgrade parts for the pinephone too, but it will be some time before then.

@sir @PINE64 Hong Kong border is shutdown due to the coronavirus. There wont be any devices with batteries shipping such as the pinebook pro or pinephone. Pinetime kits are exempt though.

@PINE64 I don't see a point. 99.9% of people don't use bitcoin. Credit/debit cards might make more sense, as almost everyone has one, and you can always use a service like privacy.com to hide your transaction from your bank if your that worried about privacy.
