       @louis I generally run my personal servers with NixOS. There’s a large number of services that can be easily configured i.e. https://search.nixos.org/options?channel=23.05&from=0&size=50&sort=relevance&type=packages&query=services.gitea and simple zfs support. That said, the Nix learning curve is real. My storage server runs Truenas Scale so, it isn’t exactly a universal preference.

       @tek back when I liked macs, OmniFocus ram my life. When I stopped using macs, OmniFocus was a sticking point. The Mac app seems (or at least seemed) to be a requirement for serious usage and the web app was not a replacement.I did think about writing a tool for using it from Linux but the sync format isn’t really specified (encrypted gziped xml diffs as I recall). I would have been fine with no support but having to reverse engineer the whole thing was a bridge too far.

       @stanford it’s strange and it’s not like cloudflare has never done questionable things. Why is there a collective shrug when the half of the internet that may not be actively profiling you is all being MITM by cloudflare?

       @simon in case you havent seen it yet, here’s the case where its supported. Hypothetically, you have to add it to your home screen. Its also very recent so, it’s unlikely that many have bothered to remove the ios checks.

       @john I'm on my 3rd app. I'm really not looking for much, it needs to remember where I was on the timeline and if the app needs to show a "load more" placeholder, it must pin the bottom post so I don't lose my place. None of the ones I've tried have passed these two criteria.
