@leigh I didn't even consider anything else really. Does Toyota have a PHEV or BEV 3 row vehicle? There seem to be very few choices. Tesla Model X seemed cramped for three kids with car seats.

Oh, hey, NixOS has an installer ISO! I hadn't seen that before.I just went to fire up a new NixOS VM and instinctively reached for cloning an old VM, rather than do all the bazillion manual install steps, but this is much easier!

@egnor I have very mixed feelings about it. Parts I love. The ideas I love. There are some rough edges and walls you can hit where things get hard quickly. It's hard for me to recommend yet but I'm cheering for it and want it to succeed. It keeps getting better.But for certain things it's perfect. Probably worth playing with if you're bored.

The 5.5yo asked me how much a dime "costs" (what its value is) and then "how do I get money?"I told him by working.Instead of working he put a bag on his head labeled "Money!" and declared our hallway a toll highway where anybody passing his bedroom has to pay him.There's also a sign in the hallway now. 🤷🏼♂️
