@feld I wasn't around for the pleroma thing, but the 4.2.0 search will be opt in, meaning that a user must activate their profile to be searchable. Was that the case with pleroma?

Anyone can help with understanding an #ipv6 usecase?I have a decently sized home LAN. IPv4 works like a charm.I have functioning IPv6-PD from my ISP. The IPv6 prefix changes regularly.I have a custom home DNS server that is not running on my router.I understand that a link-local address between my DNS server and the switch is not reachable from anywhere else BUT the switch. The switch is not the perimeter router.How can my WiFi devs reach the DNS server?What's the v6 equivalent of 10.0/8?

@tschaefer Mix of 1 and 5. I have at least one service that flat out does NOT work unless my router has a PUBLIC ipv4 address. Is a well known issue.

My internet connection has a top download speed of 200 Mbit/s.Pretty much every internet service I download a lot of data from (debian CDN, Steam, GOG) limits me to somewhere between 2 and 10 Mbit/s.What even is the point of Gigabit internet connectivity?#RandomThought

@matrix True, when downloading isos via BitTorrent, the downlink saturates.As for multiple people, that'll become relevant in a few years time when the kids are old enough. Until then, I won't lose any sleep over my connectivity :D

Do you switch filament types regularly? Pla to petg and back? How do you deal with residue in the extruder? Do you have multiple hotends you switch between?I just again fought with residual petg after switching to PLA which just got stuck due to the lower temperature and wonder what other people do about this issue.#3DPrinting
