@veer66 yes, but I'm trying to address it by getting better at reading Thai. 🙂 It's going a bit slow now though, get less practice after moving from Thailand.

@veer66 no, just would want to be able to read news and social media posts in Thai better, and maybe some Buddhist texts and so on, to understand the culture better.I have this book at home as well, I have a kind of goal to try to be able to read it.

@onebiskuit @tk @maddiefuzz @feld well, even with 35 mm-equivalents, 50 mm is basically the most "realistic" in terms of approximating the perspective of the human eye, but somewhere around to 80 mm is more flattering for portraits (subject to taste).

@ParadeGrotesque I do sometimes see completely unreasonable demands to CW stuff. People that do that, and also don't bother to ask nicely, I will pre-emptively block.That said, I've never as I recall had anyone ask me to CW anything, and I've never used CW other than for examples of how to use CW, or meta-jokes, so I guess I'm not that edgy here.
